The Bharat Scouts & Guides Maharishi District conducted the 1st Cub& Bulbul Utsav for Cubs & Bulbuls on 31st January 2014 to 2nd February 2014 at Maharishi International Residential School Sunguvar Chathiram, Kanchipuram District. 96Cubs &97 Bulbuls & 32 Scouters & Guiders Total 225 participating from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec.School Chetpet Chennai, Mahairshi Internatiaonal Residential School, Nahaar Public School, Maharishi Vidya Mandir Chengalpet, Maharishi Vidya Mandir Polachery, Maharishi Vidya Mandir Madurai, Maharishi Vidya Mandir irrungotkottai and Vidhyalakshmi Cbse School in the Utsav Mr.D.Poornachandran ALT ( C) was the leader of the camp and assisted by the invited staff from other districts. The Camp was inaugurated by Shri.V.Sundarmurthy LT (C ) State Training Commissioner (Scouts) of Tamil Nadu Bharat Scouts & Guides was the Chief Guest ,,Shri T.C.Perumal Patron of Maharishi District Shri.C.Ramalingam District Commissioner (Scouts) of Maharishi District participated the Utsav Shri.Somaprabhan of Mirs welcomed the gathering.Shri Stalain of MVM (I) gave vote of thanks. We had Flag Ceremony, Games, Red Flower/Kalarav, March Past,Drawing& colouring, Fancy dress, Folk Dance, Play Acting, Junglplay/Tar Story, Inspection Quiz,Fun Activities, Integration , Exhibition, All Faith Prayer and Physical Jerk. In Valedictory function Smt.M.Moham LT(G ) State Organising Commissioner (Guides) of Tamil Bharat Scouts & Guides was the Chief Guest gave Certificates & Prizes for the Cubs & Bulbuls. Shri S.Namasivayam District Chief Commissioner of Maharishi District visited the Utsav. Shri D.Poornachandran presented the report of the utsav and rendered the vote of thanks.
