Peace is not merely the absence of war. Peace is but absence of all that threatens peace on the earth. the Community Based Scouting in collaboration with Nazhoen Scouts of Zhemgang Central School supported by Dzongkhag Education Sector and Dzongkhag Scouts Association marked the day. So, to mark International Peace Day, the works began from 18th September. Conference was held on 18th September at Youth Center. On 19th and 20th from 4:00PM to 6:00PM, the CBS members and scouts started digging holes to plant the saplings on 21st September. So, on 21st the day was graced by Drangpoen as the Chief Guest and it was attained by 35 Nazhoen Scouts, three Scout Leaders, 15 CBS members and other guests. The day was marked by planting 70 saplings and with few cultural items.
