Learning How to Fundraise for Projects
A lot of times, there are good ideas for beneficial projects, but we lack of the fund. Therefore, I wanted to learn how to fundraise for my future community projects.
This fundraising workshop was organized by Al-Hasan Volunteer Network (AHVN) at Brickfields Asia College, Kuala Lumpur on 9th February 2019
Mr. Hasan introduces us the types of fundraising where we have physical fundraising and online fundraising. This helped me understand what kind of situation can we ask for funds and what methods can be used in each different situation. We continued with learning about how to build a trusting relationship with our donor. Through this, I learnt that trust is very important bond between the donor and the receiver. One way is always update the donor about the things we did with the donation given.

I also learnt about what are the Do's and Don'ts of fundraising. Hopefully in the near future, I can utilize this new skill I had learn in getting funds for my projects.
