The inaugural function of the International Disaster Mitigation Day 2020 has been organized at Osmani Memorial Auditorium, Dhaka at 10:30 am on Tuesday, 28 Ashwin 1428/13 October 2020. Hon'ble Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina was present on the occasion as the Chief Guest (Virtually). Mr. AB Tajul Islam (MP), Chairman, Standing Committee on Disaster Management and Relief was present as the special guest on the occasion. Hon'ble State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr. May Enamur Rahman (MP) presided over the function. 15th Rover Scout members of Bangladesh Scouts were present at the event. Also 100th Rover Scout members were present at the event through virtual medium.
