International Coastal Clean Up Drive

The City of Lipa with the coordination of different organizations including Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Lipa City Council, joined the International Clean Up Drive that being conducted in different parts of the world at the same time last September 5, 2015. The City of Lipa have chosen Sitio Tagbakin (near Taal Lake which also cleaned by volunteers) to be the site where Lipeños will clean. The said event aims to raise awareness to the people of the world that we should take care of our mother earth especially the biggest part of it, the bodies of water. The Boy Scouts of the Philippines-Lipa City Council, send 20 scouts from 2 schools, The Mabini Academy – Eagle Scouts Association (ESA) and The Mabini Academy – Rovers and Roverettes Association send 5 Eagle Scouts and 5 Rover Scouts while Bolbok National High School send 10 senior scouts.
