Our District took part in assisting a local charity to help needy children in our community have a better Christmas.  The scouts were required to budget their money, determine what gifts would be purchased from the child's "star" or wish list.  The boys from our troop were purchasing items they themselves would like to have.  Listening to them talk of how fortunate they are and what a good feeling they got from helping less fortunate children was enough for this leader to call this project a success!!
