hand on experience in nine basic ropes to scout leaders of 14 schools of Tsirang Dzongkhag

On 30th March I took a session with the scout leaders of 14 schools of Tsirang Dzongkhag to give hand on experience in nine basic ropes (Clove hitch, fisher man, sheet bend, sheep shank, timber hitch, thumb knot, Tucker’s knot, figure of eight single, and figure of eight double   ). First of I briefed on how important the ropes in our day to day life. Then I went with the keeping of ropes carefully. I found out that all leaders are very concerned and ready to learn as they have to mould the future leaders when they reach in their respective working station. I gave clear description of ropes and its uses. There were 85 participants as the community primary students joined the session. All the leaders could refresh themselves with rope work.
