As a Government Employee, transfer is a part and parcel. But as a Scout Master it is tough to leave a Troop somewhere in the middle but have to join at new place in August 2017. It was not an easy task to start a troop at the current place of posting because- 1. The small strength of students in school, 2. Lack of Funds available and 3. Weak Economic condition of the feeding area of school. I expressed my wish to start a Scout Troop to the Headmaater. The Headmaster of the School Mr. Jamwal was very much encouraging. It took us almost 10 months to start something concrete to realize the dream. We announced our willing to start a Scout Troop to the students in May, 2018 after exploring the possibilities. The enthusiasm of the students propelled us to take a step further. We called a meeting of the parents of the students from Standard 6th to 8th. The parents were little hesitant as this was something very new for them but after some discussions they ensured their most possible support to us. The Headmaster encouraged one of the young and dynamic teacher Mr. Sachin Sharma to undergo Basic Course for Scout Masters. He readily joined the Course and passed it in the Last weak of June, 2018. Plan was to start with 12 Scouts but ended with 18 Scouts. It is July 2nd, 2018 and a new Scout Troop at 'GHS Bhatnibai' is born.
