Year 7 students got together and worked as a team through out the 3 months in order to work on the "Gardening for Sustainability" project. These students dug up a bushy area and turned it into a garden area. They planted vegetables. They were told to make a backyard home gardens as well. Weeding, mulching and watering became their daily activities. They began to look after their gardens as parents looks after their children. This encouraged other students to have their class gardens too.
