Fun Education for Ciporeat Village Kids
Fun learning methods are one of the things that need to be done to attract children's interest in learning. Learning about the environment is also important nowadays so that in this learning, children can realize the importance of protecting the environment. For this reason, we created this project so that children can learn to protect the environment in a fun way so that they can do it wholeheartedly.
The implementation method used is theoretical, applicable and fun, adapted to the character and abilities of the students. First, we do some exercise to maintain fitness. Then, the children were given scouting education accompanied by games and songs. After that, we taught them to make painting pots from inorganic waste and eco-enzymes. Murals were also depicted on trash cans along with waste sorting labels. Next, planting of plant seeds was carried out on the school grounds.
The number of beneficiaries from this project is 149 children. The results of this project were successful in educating, honing students' motor skills and intelligence with applicable activities, as well as introducing Scouting to these children. In this way, learning becomes fun and the children are also educated about the importance of working together to protect the environment for the future.
From this project, I learned that environmental education is very important and needs to be introduced from an early age. This must be done to maintain the sustainability of the earth in the future. However, you need to remember that providing learning to children needs to be done in a fun way so that the children become interested and wholeheartedly want to contribute to learning and applying that learning.
