Fruit Distribution to distress and vulnerable kids

As a scout, I was inspired to start this fruit distribution project by the core values of service and community support ingrained in scouting. Seeing the struggles of distressed and vulnerable children in my community motivated me to take action and help provide them with nutritious food, promoting their health and well-being.
I executed the mango distribution project by first coordinating with director of surovi school to identify their needs and obtain permissions. I then partnered with a local fruit supplier to source fresh mangoes. With a team of volunteers, we organised On the distribution day, we followed a planned schedule to distribute the mangoes to the students, ensuring an orderly and hygienic process.
Throughout the mango distribution project, I learned empathy and needs of peoples on day to day life, the importance of thorough planning, effective coordination with partners, clear communication, and adaptability in handling unexpected challenges. Additionally, I recognized the significant impact that even small acts of kindness can have on a community.
