Free water distribution- Day 1

On the ongoing summer the heat of the sun is too extreme at daylight. So water consumption is become a necessity nowadays. But by travelling from one place to another we have lack of drinking water with us and buying a bottle of water is not everyones cup of tea. So to provide everyone a clean drinking water the Bharat Scouts and Guides Alipurduar District Association of N.F. Railway organise a free water distribution drive at Alipurduar Railway Station.
Day 1 The first day was started from 10:00 AM, as all the Scouts and Guides present at the station with available drinking water, bottles and glasses. There were two booths opend by the scouts and guides, one was on platform number 1 and the other was on platform number 2. The drive was conducted under the leadership of two adult leaders. Almost hundred plus passengers drunk water form the water booths. The drive was ended at the evening.
Providing drinking water to the passengers of the train is developed humanitarian morals among the people presented the station also the scouts guides has learnt how to help others by doing good turns everyday the water distribution drive will continue till the heat of the sun does not stops.
How to help others is the main learning of the project. Feeding others at the time when they needed, it is a immense satisfaction and as a member of a organisation like Scouts and Guides we have to continue it till our last breath.
