The footpath construction from boys’ hostel till the main road was done on 26th August, 2017 by the Yebilaptsa Central School (YCS) students who attended Youth Summit at Thimphu last midterm break. To let the dream come of us for helping the community, there was about 55 members including our teacher coordinator, two scouts masters, scouts, Yebi Phendey Group(YPG), Day scholar students and volunteers. The main aims and objectives of the construction of the footpath is to help the day scholar students of the School to have a safe journey to and fro the school besides for all passers who wish to visit the school and the district hospital which is located just above the YCS. To construct the footpath, the participants used planks, spades, knife, crowbar, etc from the school. At the end of the work, the participants were served with a light refreshment of Samosa and Juice.
