As an exchange program 9 members from Bangladesh Scouts visited our Country for Two days including 8 girls Scouts and 1 Asst. director of Bangladesh Scouts Association. As all the Official from Bhutan Scouts Association was on official duties, we the Thimphu Thromde Scouts Association took charge to organize the exchange program as per the direction of BSA. Exchange program were carried out as per the following schedule: 1. On May 21st 2018. a. They arrived at Thimphu via Phuntsholing route around 10:30 pm and were welcomed by the Chief Commissioner and Executives members of Thimphu Thromde Scouts Association near SERNA HOTEL, Thimphu, where they will be staying till their departure. 2. On May 22nd 2018: a. Visited Jigme Namgyel Lower Secondary School and had interaction with the Chay Chay Scouts, Nachung Scouts and Nazhoen Scouts. b. Paro Drugyel Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, Tamchu Lhakhang and Dungtshe Lhakhang as part of historical program. c. Visited Drugyel HSS and Drugyel LSS and had interaction with the Scouts of both the schools. d. Visited Bangladesh Ambassador Residence, as they were invited for dinner by the ambassador. 3. On May 23rd 2018. a. Visited Dechencholing Palace, Tashichodzong, parliament’s Upper House and Lower house, Toempa Dodema (Kuenselphordang), Hongtsho Pry. School, Druk Wangyel Chorten and Lhakhang (Dochula) and Royal Botanical Park. b. By 4:30 pm they left Thimphu to Phuntsholing.
