“Scouts are cheerful under all difficulties”. Nachung scouts of Chapcha PS led by leader organized cleaning campaign at Rimtekha Lhakhang, village and roadside till School under Chapcha Gewog was very satisfactory. The activity was carried out as outlined in the action plan 2017. The campaign kicked off exactly at 11.50 am after the third period on Saturday without disturbing the normal classes. This activity was carried out coincided with global hand washing day to benefit the society and to sensitize the community on waste management. The movement students reached the site, they were overjoyed that the community had used the pit productively that they dug on 29/4/’17. They also took some photograph on the site. The four six were directed to different clusters in the Lhakhang and village to collect the rubbish with sacks. Slowly all the four six gathered to a meeting point towards the main way to our school. From there, every one took their responsibilities to leave the place neat and tidy. There were lots of rubbishes in every corner in those designated areas. However, due to our consistent effort towards clean community, every stone were left unturned and hope they will pinch the pain that we members have taken. The activity took two hours to complete. The waste were dumped in the old toilet pit. All of us are happy because we did more than what we expected
