Empowering Youth for environmental action
We wanted to turn environmental awareness into practical action by engaging Scouts in tree planting, mangrove protection, recycling, water conservation, renewable energy, and wildlife protection, while empowering them to become environmental role models in their communities.
The project combined field activities, educational sessions, and partnerships. Scouts planted trees and mangroves, distributed seedlings, promoted recycling and water conservation, learned about renewable energy, visited environmental facilities, and supported awareness campaigns.
We learned that hands-on activities, clear coordination, and strong partnerships increase participation and impact. Digital tracking and regular follow-up also helped document results, while involving Scouts directly built ownership and encouraged lasting environmental action.
