Dream, plan and live your projects.

The motivation to carry out this project was the lack of a project management learning system in my scout group, where we took models from different places to adapt it to the delivery of progressions and badges. When investigating this in the Youth Network of my scout province, we noticed that it was a common problem on a large scale, where children and youth did not have a standardized guide to plan, execute, document and deliver their projects.
Asesora-Me, carried out in my first scout group in Jalisco, helped young people to carry out their projects in a simple and efficient way, with practical methods to generate a vision of what they want to achieve in the world, identify a problem or need, convert an idea in a documented project, publicly present what they want to do and what they need to achieve it, execute actions to solve their problem and give it a correct evaluation and celebration.
With 16 active participants, 4 of them shared the learning in their scout section, for which more than 50 change agents from my scout group were able to learn about project management to have tools to transform their ideas into tangible projects for their communities, with a clear overview of how to address their initiatives in courses and have the necessary resources to not limit their scope and enhance their actions.
Creating a learning system for scout projects is more complicated than I thought when I started this project, each person has very different schedules, aspirations and learning methods, but adapting to particular needs is the best way to better absorb the information. If we provide young people with tools from an early age, they will be able to realize that their projects can be a success and that there are many ways to achieve it.
