Community actions located at Desa Putera Orphanage
I was motivated by this project because by doing this project, we could make a big impact on the children at Desa Putera Orphanage, as they lacked daily necessities/ the 9 staple foods(sembako), and they lacked wisdom from the elders (aka their parents)
From Saint Bellarminus Junior High School (SMP), we walked to the Gondangdia train station. We then went on the same route heading to Bogor, but instead of going to Bogor, we stopped at Lenteng Agung Train Station. From there onwards, we went shopping to find daily necessities to be given to the children at the Orphanage. Then we took public transport straight to the Orphanage, and handed them food and water, after handing them food, we perfomed a child friendly dance to entertain them
I learned to love my parents even more, because the children at the Orphanage are forced to adapt to new environments without the wisdom coming from their parents. Besides that, I learned to manage my money wisely, which I did at Lenteng Agung Market
