CHIEF COMMISSIONERS CHALLENGE

Rover scouts from Kenya came together to participate in the Chief Commissioner's challenge which is part of their programme. The challenge is one of the preliqusite to achieve the highest award of the rover section which is the Chief Scout Award. To be awarded CSA(Chief Scout Award), the rover should: 1. Hold the Chief commissioner challenge badge, the project badge, scout craft star badge and seven proficiency badges. 2. Set the example of the scout way of life and the rover motto. Activities they took part in were: * Trimming the fence of Saint Stephens Children's home in Embu * Setting up litter bins at the Baden Powell historical gardens in Nyeri * Clean up in Kenyatta Harambee Primary School * Clearing organic waste in Juja Open market * Renovating camp demarcations at Rowallan Scouts camp in Nairobi * Hiking twenty five kilometers in between the four venues The team was dubbed #TeamSierra, and will be awarded later this year during the national awards day.
