Center for Active Reading and Learning (SWA Voluntary Service Week 2 of TMS Scouting Movement; 27 - 31 May 2019)

During the second phase of the SWA Voluntary Service of Tarlac Montessori School Scouts, which took place during the DepEd's Oplan Balik Eskwela, the Scouts together with their consultants and SW Supporters and Advisers (Sctr. Jayson J. Taruc and Debbie B. Taruc)  resumed their 8-hour  (8 - 5 PM) service project, further beautifying the reading center at Doña Arsenia Elementary School in order to make it functional by the first or second week of June.

Most of this week were spent painting window grills, putting up linoleum and rubber puzzle floorings, segregating newly-donated books and arranging them in the bookshelves, and as well as helping the faculty of DAES in their tasks.

Additional visits were also made during the week after (first week of classes) in order to prepare the reading center for the turn-over ceremony.

The TMS Scouting Movement would like to thank Dr. Elizabeth T. Asiaten, TMS School Directress, Dr. Steve Noel L. Dayao, TMS High School Principal, Sctr. Salve Z. Aguilar, Tarlac Council Scout Executive, Sctr. Harmes S. Sembrano, Tarlac Council Chairman, Mrs. Rosalie I. Cabarios, Principal of DAES, Mr. Edwin I. Pagco, Brigada Eskwela Coordinator of DAES, and members of the faculty of DAES for their unwavering support. The movement also extend their warmest gratitudes to those who extended help in terms of fund raising and in-kind donations.

Special appreciation is also extended to Sctr. Yasser F. Sarona for helping the team with regards to the conduct of the SWA Programme.
