" Celebration of 100 years of Cubbing with Cubs from 24 most difficult schools in Bhutan"

Bhutan Scouts Association celebrated 100 years of Cubbing at Punakha, Bhutan in honor of the birth of His Royal Highness, The Prince of Bhutan. 400 Cubs from 24 remote and most difficult schools in the country were invited to attend the celebration. The participants are scouts studying in one of the most difficult and harsh schools in the country who have not attended any scouting events in their lives. 100 Adult Cub Leaders and Volunteers coordinated and organized the program with much pomp and grandeur. Every day Cubs took part in numerous activities such as water and fun games, rappelling, white water rafting, air gun and pistol firing, creative and innovative activities, origami and creative arts. Eight hours were spent each day during the seven day Camporee. Hon'ble Minister of Education was the Chief Guest for the closing ceremony of the program.
