Bird Feeder for international birds

In my project we created 4 new bird feeder stands and installed them at the Crabtree nature center. These bird feeders not only feed the birds that are domestic to the area, but they also feed birds that are migratory and pass through the area. Since we have installed the bird feeders the ranger has said that he is able to see more migratory birds than ever as they are on their way to countries like Colombia, Costa Rica, and Argentina. My project has helped kids to identify and learn about these birds too. Along with installing the new bird feeders we also made activity books for the children to use while they attend the nature center. These activity books have pages that show the kids the names of the birds and what they look like so that the children can identify the migratory birds. My project has helped bring awareness to the community help people to better understand the migratory birds that are coming to our area from all over the world. Because of my project, people who go to the nature center are able to see the different kinds of birds that migrate into and out of the area from all difefrent parts of the world.
