I organized two days legal awareness advocating on Children in Conflict with Law (CICL) and Marriage Act of Bhutan (Amendment Act, 2009) to the public of Rangthangling Gewog, Public of Sergithang Gewog and students of Sergithang Primary School. My Lawyer friends (Kinley Gyeltshen, Dhan Raj Tamang, Sangay, Deki Zam, and Gaki Yangzom) from Office of Attorney General (OAG) advocated on Principle functions of OAG, Human Rights and Gender Equality, and Drugs and its Legal consequences. On May 25, 2018, the advocacy was carried out to the public of Rangthangling Gewog wherein 65 participants attended the meeting in addition to 7 Gewog Tshogde members and 6 advocacy team. The same team then moved to Sergithang Primary School, one of the remotest Gewog in Tsirang, and met the general public (30 of them), and the teachers (15) and students (103) of Sergithang Primary School.
