MAHARISHI DISTRICT Report of the Training Courses for Adult Leaders. Maharishi District Scouts & Guides, organized various courses for adult leaders from 29.4.14 to 6.5.14. at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School Hosur. A total of 98 scouters and guiders of Maharishi Group of Schools were benefited through these courses. The Details of the courses are given below. 29.4.14 General Information Course for Scout Wing 51 Participants Loc: Mr.D.Poornachandran ALT(C) 30.4.14 to 6.5.14 Advanced Course for Flock Leaders 13 Participants Loc: Mrs.Mercy Jose ALT (B) Basic Course for Guide Capitan 29 Participants Loc: Mrs.Diruvakaikani ALT (G) Asst: Shyamala HWB (G) Asst: Kamala HWB( G) Basic Course for Cub Master 32 Participants Loc: Mr.D.Poornachandran ALT (C) Asst : Mrs.Karthikeyani HWB (C) Basic Course for Scout Master 19 Participants Loc: Mr.N.Veluayadhan ALT (S) Asst: Senthil Kumar ALT (S) We have conducted the course as per Scheme of Training BP Execise, Inspection, Session, Duty Change,Sing Song, Games, Campfire, Allfaith Prayer, Validectory function, Exhibition and Yoga.We had a Hike at Hosur Farm House it was memorable for the participants.The Scouting Guiding ideal was strictly met during the course. Mr. N.Manoran, quartermaster, ran the mess effectively.All Faith Prayer was conducted on the last day in an austere manner.The Course was inaugurated by Shri C.Ramalingam District Commissioner (Scouts) Blessing by Shri J.Venkataramana & Shri G.Loganathan President & Vice President of Maharishi District& Secretaries of MVM Hosur. Smt.R.Shalia Assistnat District Commissioner of Mahaishi District &Principal of MVM Hosur blessed the participants. On the Validectory Function Mr.Champak Kumar ALT(S) was the Chief Guest. Shri.S.Namasiviyam District Chief Commisssioner of Maharishi District given permission to conduct the Course . Mr.D.Poornachandran, ALT (C), District Secretary, coordinated the courses with the support of District officals.
