MAHARISHI DISTRICT SCOUTS & GUIDES Report of the Training Courses for Adult Leaders. Maharishi District Scouts & Guides, organized various courses for adult leaders from 21.9.2013 to 28.09.2013. at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Sr.Sec.School Chetpet Chennai-31. A total of 126 scouters and guiders of Maharishi Group of Schools were benefited through these courses. The Scout wing courses were inaugurated on 21.04.13 by Shri C.Ramalingam District Commissioner (scouts) of Maharishi District. The Guide wing courses were inaugurated on 22.04.13 by Smt.Preethi Narayan DC (G) of Maharishi District. Mrs.Kamala HWB ( G) Advanced Course for Cub Master 12 Participants Loc: Mr.D.Poornachandran ALT (C) Asst : Mr.K.Ekambaram LT ( C) The Scouting Guiding ideal was strictly met during the course and was a memorable training for the participants. Mr. Arun, quartermaster, ran the mess effectively.All Faith Prayer was conducted on the last day in an austere manner.Mr.V.Sundarmurthy LT (C) STC ( S ) was the Chief guest on these occasion in the valedictory function and blessed the participants. Shri.S.Namasiviyam ASC of TNBSG & District Treasurer of Maharishi District Visited the Course Mr.D.Poornachandra, ALT (C), District Secretary, coordinated the courses with the support of District officals.
