kiSchool children from across the country got to spend six days together at the National Scout Training Centre in Gazipur for the 9th Cub Camporee. Camp-fires, cub carnivals, cultural programs, and a host of activities kept the little scouts busy for six days. Alongside the fun activities, they also learned how to protect their planet from plastic pollution. The event pledged to be environment- friendly with a sign hanging on the entrance gate of the venue which read: "Plastic-bag free area." The little scouts took an oath to refrain from using plastic bags.
