As the National Events Coordinator for this National Event, I am proud to say that I have created another milestone after spreading my MOP initiative to cubs and leaders from all through out Fiji. I was able to spread this MOP initiative to 687 cubs, 147 leaders/helpers, 98 organizers of programs, 85 students and teachers of Drasa Primary School and about 550 parents at Drasa. It was a historical event as the this year also marked 100 years of CUB SCOUTING in the World. Likewise, we had our MoP booth where we spent about 2 hours daily for 4 days in spreading the gospel of PEACE to the scouts by means of Networking games, video presentations and advocating Peace through music and fun. The Chief Scout - His Excellency - The President of Fiji did the honors of opening the event on 15th August after an exciting March in the city. There were both onsite and offsite activities organised for the cubs. Fiji Military personals also did a marvelous job of setting fun-filled and adventurous activities while the tour of the chiefly Viseisei Village added more curiosity amongst the participants.
