The 316th National Adventure Programme was conducted at National Adventure Institute, Pachmarhi from 15th -21st December, 2014 under the Leadership of Mr. Shiddharth Mohanty, ROC(S) with the assistance of Miss Bilkish Shaikh, Jr. Instructor, Mr. Aman Singh, Jr. Instructor, Mr. Sazeed Mohammad, Mr. Birbal, Mr. Gourav and invited staff 07. In which 328 participants from Rajasthan (06) NVS Jaipur Region (129), Uttar Pradesh (12),N.E.Railway (04), C.Railway (10), N.Railway (60), St. Joseph’s School Vijapur Gujarat (40) & KVS Jaipur Region (67) attended the programme. The programme was started with prayer Flag ceremony on 15th December, 2014 at 03 pm. During the programme, activities such as Rock Climbing, Obstacles crossing, Riffle shooting, Horse riding and Boating were conducted. All the participants enjoyed the trekking to Bee fall, Jatashankar, Rajendra Giri, Lat Shrung, Mahadev, Gupt Mahadev, and Chouragarh & Pandav Cave. On 17th December, 2014 Shri Sanket B., Distt. Collector of Hoshangabad also witnesses the camp fire and Blass the participants. He was also Scout during his school life. On 20th December, 2014 Grand Campfire was organized in which Dr. K. Sukumara, Joint Director (S), BSG was the Chief Guest, Shri Aaroop Sarkar, Asstt. Director, N. Region, Shri S. S. Roy, Asstt. Director, E. Region also witnessed the programme staff members & Participants of ALT (S) Course, 19 Participants from Nepal also witnessed the progreamme Mapping & Star Gazing, Pioneering cum estimation course & signaling course and NTC & N.A.I. Staff witnessed the colorful programme presented by the participants based such as folk song, folk dance, skits & social evils and its eradication. Everybody praised the performance of children those who were present. The participants also helped the Forest Department in Environment cleanliness by collecting unwanted material i.e. polythene & wrappers etc. helping to keep Pachmarhi ‘CLEAN PACHMARHI, GREEN PACHMARHI’ the places where they went for trekking.
