Yearly 2nd June is marked as social Forestry Day coincided with coronation day of fourth Druk Gyalpo (King) Jigme Singye Wangchuk. Chapcha primary school joins hands to commemorate the occasion by clearing and weeding the existing plants and fruit trees around the school compound. The school also observed as scarf awarding day to the new members. Thirteen new members were awarded the scarf by the School Principal.
