2021 - RESTART

Re-energizing Scout units and creating new units in order to retain and grow membership of Scout and Guide Association of Montenegro.
In order to retain and grow membership, 3 existing Scout Units would be supported and 2 new Units would be created. By recruiting new Scout leaders, making connection with local authorities and communities and providing equipment, SGAM would prepare 5 Scout Units in total in order to implement Scout program and work with young people from 3 towns in a more quality way. While using a Scout method, 5 Units would work with Scouts but with new young people interested in Scouting as well.
Around 880 people from 3 different towns in Montenegro benefited from this project and most of them are youth under the age of 30. 5 Scout Units that are included in this project (3 old and 2 new Units) gather around 300 Scouts who are active on daily bases and they have already organized many activities with local communities and municipality authorities.
By training young Scout leaders, making connections with local authorities, organizing open days of Scouting and providing equipment, our Association tried to develop and test a model which will serve in the future for growing membership. In next 2-3 years this approach will be used to create new Scout Units in 5-10 municipalities with the special attention to those municipalities where Scout Units do not already exist.
