從2018年四月開始，明湖國中光明複式童軍團的行義成員們開始進行和平使者計畫，主題為環境保護，並以淨灘作為我們的服務內容。在這次的計畫中，我們一共進行了兩次的淨灘行動。 在四月份的團集會，由團長向行義伙伴介紹MOP的起源與意義，接著由小隊長們制定第一次淨灘的服務計畫。我們五月第一次的服務計畫在基隆和平島進行，服務過程中伙伴們收穫良多，並開始為七月的第二次淨灘服務做準備。露營籌備小組檢視前次淨灘行動，並重新擬定計畫。 七月的團露營是我們每年的例行活動，今年首次加入社區服務的元素，期望參與伙伴除了玩樂能服務他人。在露營的期間，行義伙伴向童軍伙伴介紹MOP計畫，並邀請童軍伙伴一同投入MOP的服務計畫，並在金山海灘進行淨灘服務。 為期四個月的MOP計畫不只是單純的淨灘服務，透過青少年領導的方式進行這個計畫，能夠提升青年賦權，使童軍伙伴成為更加獨立且負責的人；透過做中學習，親身為我們的環境服務，更加深刻環境保護的重要性。最後也是最重要的，我們因為這個計畫看到，當我們付出實際的行動，確實可以影響到周遭的人！ 和平從我們開始！ From April 2018, senior scouts of Bright Light Scout Group from Taiwan Taipei Ming-Hu Junior High School started to do project of messengers of peace. The area of service of the project is environmental protection. We did coastal cleanup as our service. In this project, we did cleanup twice. In the troop meeting of April, the scout leader introduced the origin and meaning of MoP to senior scouts. After that, patrol leaders gathered to discuss with the detail of the cleanup action. We took the first action of cleanup in Keelung Hoping Island at troop meeting in May. Boys and girls had a lot of gains during the service. Therefore, they started to prepared the second action which would be a part of camping in July. The camping program planning team reviewed the action that took in May, and revised for a better plan of cleanup. Troop camping in July is an annual routine program in our group. In this year, we added an element of community service to the program for the first time, expecting that participants not only having fun but also serving others . During camping, seniors introduced MoP and our project to participants who were in the section of scout, and invited them to join our service action as well. The second action was taken in Jinshan Beach. This MoP project lasted for four months is not only service of coastal cleanup. It also improves youth empowerment by conducting the project through the method of youth-led, making youths to be more independent and conscientious people. By the method of learning by doing, we contribute ourselves to environmental service to know the importance of environmental protection. At last, the most important of all, because of the project, we realize that the action we take in practice can influence others around us in deed! PEACE, starts with us!
