The ’National Unity Day’ or ‘Rastriya Ekta Diwas’ is celebrated every year on October 31st to commemorate the birth anniversary of India’s first Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This year will mark the 147th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who is also known as the Iron Man of India. To observe the Rastriya Ekta Diwas the members of Bharat Scouts & Guides Northeast Frontier Railway Alipurduar District Association was participated in a rally to remember the legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel with shoguns like “JAY HIND”, “BHARAT MATA KI JAI” etc. The Rally Starts from DRM Building Via Railway Bazar and ends at Rail Station (APDJ). In this observation ‘DRM’ sir of Alipurduar Division, RPF officers and other Railway dignities also participate.
