TURNING PLASTIC WASTES INTO TREASURE

We are a long the lake Malawi and plastic wastes give threat to our lives and aquatic animals as there is poor management of wastes. Lake Malawi is the home of tourism in Malawi, feeds millions of people across the country, and offers employment to local people. As such there is a great need for eradication of plastic wastes so that we continue enjoying the fish and fresh water . Most of the scouts depend on fishing as the source of living and have started working on the clean up plastic wastes project on the beaches and waters. We are recycling the plastic wastes by making geometrical shapes, alphabetical letters, numbers and make hanging gardens in homes. We distribute these geometrical shapes and others to those schools around the community with or without learning materials in order to simplify the lessons delivery
