Scouts Donate to School for Children with Disabilities and Special Needs - Ngombe Little Assisi School
Zambia Scout Association today visited Little Assisi school for children with disabilities and special needs in Ngombe township of Lusaka run by Roman Catholic Church where they donated various commodities including one box of the second hand clothes that were received from the Africa Scout Conference that was recently held in Zimbabwe. Other goods included pens, training manuals for scouting and malaria prevention, snakes, and drinks.
Another scouter based in the United Kingdom, Mr. Phiri and his family also donated sweat shirts at the same ceremony. The scouts helped the school attendants and teachers to cheer up the children and also feed up.
Some of the mothers present expressed happiness that scouts thought of helping the school that struggles to take care of their disabled children.
