"Promoting Environmental Awareness Through Art"

Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan: As part of the CLAP (Cleanliness and Plastic Awareness Program) Project, an environmental conservation-themed drawing competition was organized at Birla Public School during the Second and Third Sopan Scout-Guide Training Camp. The activity provided an opportunity for Scouts and Guides to express their thoughts on protecting nature through art. Participants created meaningful drawings highlighting issues such as environmental protection, tree plantation, waste reduction, and sustainable living. Through their creativity, they conveyed powerful messages about the importance of preserving our planet for future generations. The competition encouraged young people to become responsible environmental citizens and strengthened their understanding of conservation practices. The enthusiasm and imagination displayed by the participants reflected their commitment to building a cleaner and greener future. To appreciate their efforts and participation, all Scouts and Guides were awarded CLAP badges. The event was graced by Camp Director Ramkumar Swami, Scouter Ram Singh, Principal Dr. Nitesh Kumar Singh, Neeraj Kanwar, and Rangers Nishu and Muskan Sharma , who motivated the participants and appreciated their environmental awareness. The initiative successfully combined creativity, learning, and environmental action, inspiring young minds to contribute positively towards nature conservation and sustainable development.
