What is it?
This is one of the most important scout jamborees ever organized in the world scout history. This jamboree is organized to show the moder generation ''how was the scouting before 100 year'' . We have organized the B.P's 1907 camp that he did in the Brown sea islands in 1907.

Palindanuwara Friendship International Scout Jamboree
We wish to inform you that in collaboration with Sri Lanka Scout Association Headquarters, Kalutara District Association organizing the Palindanuwara Friendship International Scout Jamboree from 2 – 9 August 2017 at Baduraliya School, Matugama Sri Lanka. 1000 Sri Lankan Scouts and leaders from Districts, and over 200 overseas Scouts are expected to take part of this event. Jamboree details are as follows
Jamboree dates – From 3rd August to 9th August in 2017. Overseas participants are requested to arrive on 2ndAugust 2017 and could leave on 10th August 2017
Venue – Baduraliya School, Matugama Sri Lanka
Theme:”Back to 1907 & the World Friendship”
Participants: Both Male and Female Scouts Aged Between 13 – 17 Years, Leaders below 55 Years
Jamboree fee – $150 USD per person
Fee Cover Inland transportation from Bandaranaike International Airport. Jamboree kits (Jamboree T-Shirt/scarf/ certificates /badges/cap/bag/water bottles) On-site activities, off-site educational visits. Cooked Meals from 3rdAugust breakfast to 10th August breakfast one night stay at a Guest House Internet and other facilities.
Accommodation: Organizers will provide very clean and good class rooms for every contingent in the jamboree area. You could bring your tents and sleeping gear.
Registration: Registration closed on 5th May 2017.
Climate: 22° – 33°C with occasional rain
