Gandhi Scout Troop, Northern Railway - TTL
The Gandhi Scout Troop under the Ticket to Life Project in Northern Railway, Moradabad, has been actively engaged in various educational, service-oriented, and awareness-building activities, fostering holistic development among its young members. The troop proudly celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and the birth anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji, paying tribute to the values of simplicity, peace, and selfless service. In alignment with these ideals, the troop also observed International Peace Day through group activities that highlighted the importance of harmony and non-violence in today’s world.
As part of their regular weekly troop meetings, the Scouts participated in diverse learning sessions including first aid training, hand signalling and whistle signalling, and healthy habits awareness under the theme “Clean Hands, Happy Life.” These sessions were designed to instill life-saving skills and personal hygiene practices among the Scouts, essential for both everyday life and emergency situations.
The Thinking Day celebration saw enthusiastic participation from Scouts as they reflected on the global Scouting movement and their role in making the world a better place. Additionally, the troop marked Teachers’ Day with gratitude and celebration, recognizing the vital role educators play in shaping young minds.
The troop remained committed to environmental protection and community service by participating in World Environment Day and conducting cleanliness drives, particularly around public spaces like Kali Badii Temple, where Scouts offered voluntary service. Regular weekly meetings and patrol-based activities ensured continued engagement and learning, keeping the spirit of Scouting alive and dynamic.
Through these consistent and impactful efforts, the Gandhi Scout Troop of TTL Moradabad exemplifies the true spirit of Scouting—building responsible, skilled, and service-minded youth ready to contribute positively to society.
