Zero Water Day Partnership at Wanakha CS, Paro

In Partnership with Zero Water Day Partnership, the school wanted to create awareness among the youth regarding SDGs (17) and the youth in action wanted to promote a clean drinking water supply in the school.
The project happens simultaneously in the school along with their daily learning. The teacher-in-charge helps in running this program.
The impact of the project is that youth will be the agent of change in realizing the SDGs and more importantly spearhead in creating zero water. It can also provide opportunities to students in clsoely collaborating with the community and create awareness about water and its scarcity.
It is motivating to see that youths are becoming thinkers and action-takers in the changing critical times where a helping hand is much better than praying lips. Try replicating this programme in other schools and get involved with other stakeholders on the global stage.
