Youth for BioEnergy Conservation

Volunteers and community members participated in an educational activity at Mount Halimun Salak National Park to learn about renewable geothermal energy and biodiversity conservation. The activity included an expedition to the geothermal area of Kawah Ratu and visits to a base camp where rare vegetation grows. The goal was to raise awareness about protecting nature, understanding geothermal potential, and preserving wildlife and plant biodiversity in the Mount Salak ecosystem.

Participants conducted an expedition to the geothermal area of Kawah Ratu to observe natural geothermal activity and learn about its potential as renewable energy. They also visited a base camp area where rare vegetation grows and discussed the importance of protecting forest ecosystems and wildlife habitats in the Mount Salak conservation area.

The project increased awareness among scouts and community members about renewable energy, environmental protection, and biodiversity conservation. Participants became more motivated to support sustainable practices and protect natural ecosystems.

Participants learned about the importance of renewable energy, biodiversity protection, and environmental responsibility, as well as the role youth can play in preserving natural resources.
