"Youth in Action: SLSS Builds the Path to Peace"

“I got motivated by my leaders — the way they speak, guide, and work with dedication really inspired me. Seeing their commitment to serving the community encouraged me to take part in building the stupa and contribute in whatever way I could.”
“I spent three days assisting in the construction of the stupa by preparing materials, carrying stones and tools, and working alongside the masons to lay out and build the structure. I ensured that everything was on time and the work continued safely and smoothly.”
The main lesson I learned from building the stupa is the importance of teamwork and cooperation. By listening to each other’s ideas and working together, we were able to complete the project successfully. I also learned that patience, communication, and supporting one another are key when working as a group.
