You’re Not Alone–2025
Mental health remains a stigmatized and often overlooked issue in our society, especially among youth. Many suffer in silence due to lack of awareness or fear of judgment. This project was launched to break the stigma, promote emotional well-being, and encourage people to seek help without shame. By sharing clear, compassionate messages through leaflets, we aimed to spark understanding and empathy about mental health challenges and the importance of supportive conversations.
On 1st April 2025, our team distributed mental health awareness leaflets to 20 individuals in a public setting. Each recipient was engaged in brief, meaningful conversations to explain the core messages—validating feelings, encouraging open dialogue, and promoting professional support. The project was led by two patrol leaders, with support from a senior scout and a rover.
We learned that simple words can open powerful conversations. Many people are willing to listen and share when approached with empathy. This project proved that even small steps can create safe spaces and inspire a healthier, more compassionate community.
