Young Peace Builder at TAC
The Young Peace Builder at TAC project is therefore an important platform for strengthening youth capacity, enabling them to grow into responsible, civically minded citizens who are ready to play an active role in building peace in a tangible and meaningful way within Thai society.
Activities under the project are designed using a participatory learning approach, incorporating dialogue-based processes, group activities, and reflective practices. This creates a safe space for youth to freely and creatively share their perspectives, experiences, and opinions. Participants learn to better understand themselves and others, as well as to respect differences, which helps reduce prejudice and build mutual trust.
Youth are able to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in their schools, communities, and surrounding society. Participants can serve as agents of change in peacebuilding, sharing the ideas and values they have learned with their peers, families, and networks. This contributes to the creation of a respectful, understanding, and sustainable society in the long term.
