The Young Diabetes Fiji had a 4 days camping at Saru Methodist Church in Lautoka. It was based on raising awareness on diabetes and the theme was " It Won't Stop My Dream" The camping included sporting activitiesand community project. They also had speakers from health departments presenting on how to take care of themselves during pregnancy or when there are dental problems and so forth. On their second last day of the camping before the camp fire I went and shared about the Messengers of Peace Programme under WOSM and how can we be a messenger of peace. There were children and youths and most of them were diabetic.
