"Young Ambassasors of Peace"

Bhutan Scouts Association conducted the Young Ambassadors for Peace Rural-Urban Youth Exchange Program for 56 young scouts of a remote school and two Urban schools in Bhutan. A six day exchange program was a platform for youth to get to know the rural-urban life setting and exchange ideas and information of their lives. The program also initiated the messengers of peace global networking initiative in their local regions. Eight hours were spent each day for the program. 56 participants were briefed on the Messengers of peace initiative and its goals. Inspiring videos of helping people and service to mankind were some of the highlights of the program. The participants were also briefed on the positive impact of the MoP initiatives. The young ambassadors of peace were also taken on excursion trips of areas of cultural and historical importance. Above all, all were oriented on the work done by the scouts all over the world in spreading the message of peace, harmony and justice.
