World Environment Day 2021(100000 Tree Plantation)
The theme for World Environment Day 2021 is “Ecosystem Restoration” and will see the launch of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration
More than 70000 scouts across the country are expected to participate and achieve the target of 100000 by plantain tow plants by each in their home garden. Every tree thus planted will hane to be registered un the "Thuru" Mobile application under sri lanka Scout Association participated on this occasion
Learned responsibility by caring for the plants , learned how to communicate and compromise with each other .
They also developed skills of observation as they watched interactions among plants , animals , soil and weather.
