World Drowning Prevention Day - Awareness Workshop
The 25th of July is embarked as the World Drowning Prevention Day. Drowning according to WHO kills lots of people. So the Elite Patrol of 13th hussars Open Rover Scout Group decided to host a small workshop on 25 July about Drowning and how to prevent drowning for one's own self and also prevent others from drowning. We followed WHOs standards and local education to raise awareness among us and the live stream which was viewed by 200 people.
We created a presentation on how to prevent drowning and we educated our members on it via presenting it in a zoom meeting. It was live streamed so people also got benefitted.
The project will raise awareness among people regarding drowning prevention and might help to save lives.
I learned a lot about measures to prevent drowning both in personal and organizational level.
