Woodman Point Trail Clearing at the 19th Australian Rover Scout Moot

As part of the activities at WAM, the 19th Australia Rover Scout Moot in Perth, WA, all 500 Rover Scout participants performed a day of service for the benefit of the local community. Our team of trail blazers cleared a track to be used as part of an ecological trail developed for other users of the Woodman Point Recreation Camp including Scout Groups, School Camps, Corporate Visitors and Training Staff. In the 30 degree (Celsius) heat, the 20 Rovers sweated through while cutting back grass, removing stumps, raking leaves and pruning bushes whilst keeping a watchful eye out for snakes and spiders.
