Winter Relief:(Blanket Distribution)
The project was inspired by the severe winter conditions and the visible hardships faced by underprivileged communities who lack adequate warm clothing. Observing the suffering of elderly people, children, and vulnerable families during the cold season motivated us to take action. As Scouts, Rovers, and Scouters, our commitment to community service and humanitarian values encouraged us to initiate this winter blanket distribution project to provide warmth, comfort, and dignity to those in need.
First, we identified vulnerable and underprivileged families by the Scouts,Rovers and Scouters of Bengal Tiger Open Scout Group . Then, we procured quality winter blankets and prepared a beneficiary list to ensure transparency and fairness.
The distribution was carried out at selected locations following an organized schedule. Volunteers were assigned specific roles for registration, distribution, and crowd management.
Overall, the project reinforced the value of service, compassion, and responsible leadership in making a positive difference in the lives of others.
