Winter clothes distribution project 2020
For those who shiver, for those who suffer, it has been our desire to hand out clothes and blankets among poor and underprivileged individuals. The core objective of the clothes distribution activity was to reduce the sufferings of economically and socially backward people due to the cold wave
WLFSCSG and WRCY jointly executed the winter clothes distribution project dividing into two teams of collection and distribution. The team has effortlessly tried to collect warm clothes from the well off. The considerable volume of blankets and clothes distribution took place in different parts of the capital city
More than 150 clothing packages were collected, sorted and distributed in the whole program. The last donation campaign was held successfully with benefiting about hundreds of sufferers with clothes and blankets better in terms of quality & comfort
The team learnt that the need for people to be warm is a daily struggle for many. Thankfully the team was able to bring smiles on their faces and make their winter warmer. The endless effort of our members made this event not only a grand success story but also made people to be witnessed of the first ever clothes distribution program of our scout group
