Winter Cloth Distribution Project
Winter can be unforgiving, especially for those without the means to stay warm. Moved by this reality, our Rajuk Uttara Model College Scout Group decided to take action. Guided by our scouting principles of compassion and service, we saw an opportunity to make a tangible difference in our community. Through our efforts, we provided not just warm clothing but also a sense of care and support to those in need.
About 12 scouts & rover scouts from our scout group conducted a clothing drive, collecting winter essentials like jackets and blankets. They sorted the donations and distributed them to over 80 people on January 3-4, 2025, overcoming limited resources through teamwork and determination.
Through this project, we learned just how powerful it is to come together as a team, all working towards the same goal. We got to sharpen our leadership skills, figure out how to roll with the punches when things get tough, and see for ourselves how even little acts of kindness can make a big difference. This whole experience made us even more committed to helping our community and reminded us why empathy and sticking together matter so much.
